We survived the busy weekend. Spent all last week finishing 4 Adirondack chairs for a customer, while trying to gather things up for the yard sale. The yard sale lasted Friday thru Monday. I worked at 2 different restaurants on Friday and at the yard sale the rest of the weekend. We delivered the chairs to our customer's cabin on the Current River on Monday morning. What a beautiful and out of the way place. We had to travel on 6 different gravel roads and then down a dirt road for 2 1/2 miles. (I sure would hate for get home from grocery shopping only to realize you had forgot the milk.) However the peace and quiet of being surrounded by nature was wonderful.
Here is a photo of Dave and myself in front of the trailer. (Just a couple of goofy looking people.)
A pic of the front of our 1997 Jayco Eagle. It is 35' long and perfect for a couple to live in.
The weather here in Missouri has changed from hot summer to perfect fall weather over the weekend. This is just a taste of what we will get to enjoy all winter long.
Today I am re-upholstering a rocker-glider and footstool for my daughter. (Really for my coming granddaughter.) It will be done and delivered this week. Then next week we will finish cleaning out the house and garage, and getting everything ready to be closed up for the winter. Can hardly wait to get on the road and headed for our new adventure.
Have a great week, Lydia
